How the estimate works

Filament cost is calculated from your spool’s usable weight and price. Electricity is your print time × average printer draw × electricity rate. The U.S. default is 18.2¢/kWh, the EIA’s 2026 residential estimate; edit it to match your utility bill.

This is a planning tool, not accounting advice. For selling, include packaging, platform fees, shipping supplies, labor, and a realistic reprint allowance in “Other costs.”
